Joining the Rondout Rowing Club is an opportunity to do something for yourself, and your community. Membership offers attendance at any and all rowing excursions. We usually row Tuesday and Thursday mornings at around 6am and Monday and Wednesday evenings at 5:30 pm. Weekend rows are held Saturdays usually at 7 am and Sundays at 9 am. Additional rows are often scheduled based on members’ availability and desires. The club owns five different types of boats (3 8’s, a quad, 4 4’s, 2 doubles, and 4 singles) allowing for any combination of rowers on the water.
We try to allow people to row whenever possible. This flexibility offers members optimum exercise and enjoyment of the grand sport of rowing. As a non-profit organization we support other institutions in the area, most notably the Hudson River Maritime Museum and the Kingston High School Crew Team.
