Before you Begin Rowing

At the Rondout Rowing Club we value your safety on and off the water.  So please look through  the following tips and make sure you follow them.

Before you begin a program of land based erging or on the water rowing you should consult with your physician and make sure this is appropriate for your health.     The day of your first exercise make sure you  understand your  maximum heart rate and target heart rate.  Never exercise at a rate that is above your recommended maximum. Also, make sure you have been registered through (see the “join” screen) and have signed your online waiver to ensure that you are covered by our insurance.
